Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my Aurasity Pro subscription?

Subscription cancellation is managed through the App Store, not from within the app. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Aurasity Pro → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before your current paid period ends; once you cancel, you keep using Aura until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do I restore my purchases?

If you already purchased Aurasity Pro and switched to a new device, or reinstalled the app, use the "Restore purchases" option in Profile → Settings to re-activate your subscription on the same Apple account.

How do I withdraw my consent for Aura?

You can withdraw the consent you gave the first time you opened Aura at any time via Profile → Settings. When you do, the Aura tab closes and your messages stop being sent to Google.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete all my data to permanently delete your profile result, tasks, routines, habits, focus session records, setting preferences, and Aura's memory file (its persistent notes and session summaries); this action cannot be undone and also withdraws the data consent you gave Aura. The weekly message counter, kept to prevent abuse, is not included in this deletion. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How much can I use Aura? What does "fair use" mean?

So that everyone can access Aura fairly, a limit of 100 messages per week per person applies; the counter resets every Monday. You get a gentle reminder as you approach the limit, and once you reach it, Aura will tell you it renews on Monday.

Does Aura provide a diagnosis? What should I do in an emergency?

No. Aura does not provide a diagnosis and does not give medical or psychological advice — it's a chat companion that listens to your everyday concerns and tries to lift your mood. If you're in an emergency, don't wait on Aura — call your local emergency number; if you have a serious concern about your mental health, consult a professional.
